More info:
We offer a new system for delivering ready-mix concrete - by truck-mounted Volumetric Mixer which can provide fresh concrete of any mix design, produced on any site, delivering accuracy of within plus or minus one per cent - ideal for ready-mix service or use on major projects. We also have a mobile cement silo which can be situated out on site together with all our dry quarry materials being hauled to any site for major projects if required.
Up to 1M3 of fresh concrete can be produced every two minutes by this volumetric mixer which is also fitted with a precise fibre chopper/feeder for use in producing reinforced strength concrete. This machine also produces foam concrete. Mix designs are computer controlled and the machine is capable of delivering 20 different grades of fresh concrete.
Customers receive a computer printout on each delivery which sets out the total metreage of concrete, cement content, water content, sand and gravel content and date and time of delivery.
Each ingredient is held independently in their separate bins on the vehicle and are activated by the on-board computer. Because dry ingredients are mixed on the spot, the concrete always arrives fresh on site - no older than seven seconds. This new machine's uniquely precise dispensing system means our mixer is accurate to within plus or minus one per cent of volume delivered and if the customer has over-ordered the mixer can be shut off without any wasted concrete. This elimates the risk of over-ordering where concrete goes to waste or under-ordering where the old type drum mixer would have to return to a batching plant for a part load (charges are usually incurred for part loads with drum type mixers). The mix can be changed during the run to suit the customer specifications precisely so, if two different mixes are required, there is no need to return to a batching plant. This is an environmentally sound method of producing and delivering concrete. We deliver the exact amount of concrete the customers require and they pay only for what is laid. In other words. there are no part loads, no waste and no time limits - just precise, profitable productivity.
